Jillian Michaels is a well-known figure in the fitness industry, not only for her role as the no-excuses trainer on The Biggest Loser, but also an inspiration of health to many people seeking to lead a healthy lifestyle.
But these days, she’s receiving recognition of a different kind as one of People Magazine’s 2012 Most Beautiful People - which is a highly-anticipated collection of the world’s most beautiful celebrities which the magazine publishes every year.
With much anticipation surrounding this year’s list, it’s no surprise that Jillian was named among the lucky few. And perhaps an even higher honor is that she was recognized among the most beautiful celebrities inside and out for their roles in helping people in need.
Of the star, People Magazine wrote that “During the process of adopting a baby, the trainer connected with an agency that brought ‘deeper meaning to my life,’ she [Jillian] says. ‘Other than being a parent, I can’t imagine anything more fulfilling.’”

Today, People Magazine announced its annual list of the World’s Most Beautiful Women; the magazine hits newsstands tomorrow, April 27. Gracing the 2012 cover is new mom and Hollywood super star Beyonce, who will be joined by nearly 180 other women who define beauty.
The top ten list includes some of the biggest television, music, and movie stars of the past year. What we like about all of them, including Miranda Lambert, Charlize Theron, and Christina Hendricks, is that they all embrace fit, active, healthy lifestyles. None of them are doing anything too extreme and all trying to practice moderation for the most part, not an easy task in the land of indulgence.
We’ve rounded up the diet and fitness techniques of this year’s top 10 most beautiful women.
Last year, “21 Pounds in 21 Days: The Martha’s Vineyard Diet Detox” rocked the diet book shelves. In People Magazine this week, Robin Quivers from the Howard Stern Show shares the before and after pictures of her 60 pound weight loss- thanks to the “24 pounds in 21 days” she says she lost, followed by additional weight loss by turning to a vegan lifestyle. Robin says she also works out four days a week.
