Nutrisystem Prepares You to Eat Right on Your Own

For 16 weeks, Lori Jackson, a mom of three and grandmother to two, will be checking in with DietsInReview.com to share her personal experience with Nutrisystem. The good, the bad, and everything in between, see first-hand how the Nutrisystem program works.

Nutrisystem Week 13

I am on my last few weeks with my trial Nutrisystem and so far it has been easy and enjoyable. I really can’t believe how simple this change has been. And I do hope that when this last month’s food box is empty I can maintain the simplicity of eating.

It has been a challenge starting to come into the fall season though. Work has already started bringing lots of food into the warehouse. It seems the end of the brutal heat is the signal to start with the parties break room full of food. So far I have controlled myself from eating more than I should. So that is my newest challenge., but what I have learned from Nutrisystem is to not put too much emphasis on mealtime and to remember portion sizes; we really don’t need as much to eat as we all thought we did.

Fall is the Perfect Season to Jump-Start Weight Loss

Nutrisystem Week 11

With the cool fall mornings and the leaves falling from the trees, I am thinking crisp apples. We can slice them, sprinkle some cinnamon on top and bake for a few minutes. I would have sprinkled a bit of sugar also but I really think I am over that right now. I also love yellow squash and sweet potatoes. Sliced and sprinkled with some garlic and salt and roasted in the oven, I cook these with carrots and asparagus. This is a great veggie mix that tastes wonderful and is very colorful.

Fall is such a great season for healthy foods. But just remember, there can be too much of a good thing. So practice those moderation skills!

8 Things I Love About Nutrisystem (and 2 I Hate)

Nutrisystem Week 9

Hey everyone…  Hope your week has been much cooler.  It really helps out when exercising if it is not 110 outside!

This week I would like to talk about the advantages and disadvantages (that I see) with Nutrisystem.

Nutrisystem – The Good

1.  Variety. I absolutely love that you can order whatever it is you want to eat for the week / month.

2.  Taste. The taste of most of the food is really good, which makes dieting much easier if the food is flavorful. This makes the weight loss not as much of a challenge.

3.  Convenience. I love that the food is delivered to my door and I don’t have to go to the store and travel up and down the aisles, which inevitably leads to grabbing things you really don’t need.

Ten Pounds Lost in Six Weeks on Nutrisystem

Nutrisystem Week 8

I hope everyone had a cooler week. It has been a trying month for me with moving and a lot of other changes. One thing I changed was my address with the post office. Not knowing that Nutrisystem ships with UPS. Thus, my box of food did not get forwarded to me this month. I have not been able to check my mail to find that it was delivered via UPS. So I will go in search of my box of food tomorrow. But with that said I have been able to lose a couple pounds this month just eating regular food.  That gives me hope that when this trial period is over I will be able to maintain and even lose the weight that I still need to lose.

I have had to pick up my exercises in the evenings now because it is not so hot at work. That was a bit frustrating, for when I get home I am still just as tired but I am trudging through and making it fun.  It is so important to maintain your exercises while watching what you eat.

Nutrisystem Week 7

Hope your week has been as wonderful as mine.  Had a birthday this week and finally got most of the new place unpacked. And got to spend time with my two daughters, two granddaughters, my mother and my great son-in-law. That is all I need for a birthday. My daughter made a wonderful dinner for me of salmon, asparagus, and roasted sweet potatoes. I love that with the Nutrisystem meal plan we are not strapped to our micro dinners all the time, that we can step out and eat regular foods and still stay in the realm of the plan.
