Taking the path traveled by John Goodman, Drew Carey and Jason Alexander, Kevin James is another heavy comedian who recently lost some weight. The comedian, who’s appeared both in film and on television, says he reached an all time low as his scale reached its all time high in 2024.

“It got to a point where I hit my all time high,” said James. “I got on the scale and it read 290 pounds. Not good, not good at all. I realized I’m only 10 pounds away from 300. I got to 302.”

James said he wants to be lose weight and be healthier for his family. He is married to actress Steffiana de la Cruz, and they are expecting their third child later this year. James’ decision seems to be paying off, he’s already down 42 pounds, decreasing his chances of suffering from cardiac disease or hypertension.
