Oh, Hollywood celebrities… their lifestyles are just as wild as their eating habits. And, all of us who closely follow their lives in the pages of Us Magazine and TMZ are just as wacky, especially when we copy their dieting practices.

Gwyneth Paltrow Reveals How she Lost the Baby WeightLike many women, Gwyneth Paltrow found losing weight more difficult after her second child than after her first. “After my first pregnancy, the weight had come off a little bit better but after the second one it was really stubborn. It was really hanging on,” the 37-year-old told The Press Association. She gave birth to her second child, Moses, in 2006, and found getting back to her ideal figure difficult. “It was not easy and, when I started it, it was by far the hardest thing I have ever done – but I really was seeing results so it motivated me to just work through it.”

Paltrow is planning on releasing a cookbook titled, My Father’s Daughter, in memory of her dad. But she didn’t let her love of good food get in the way of a healthy diet and fit body.

Paltrow enlisted the help of personal trainer Tracy Anderson to lose the baby weight. The actress insisted that her achievement is something everyone can do, “every woman can make time – every woman – and you can do it with your baby in the room.” Paltrow didn’t let her workout get in the way of spending time with her children. “There’ve been countless times where I’ve worked out with my kids crawling around all over the place. You just make it work, and if it’s important to you, it’ll be important to them.”

The Connection Between Soda and Bone Loss

Attention all Diet Coke and Diet Dr. Pepper lovers: Soda has been linked to osteoporosis, a condition that is marked by bone loss and puts you at risk for fractures, splints and breaks.

We all know by now that the sugar in soda is linked to a host of health conditions, from obesity to dental cavities. Now soda is earning demerits for its association with degrading the skeletal system.

The problem though is not with all sodas, but with the colas. So drinks like Sprite, 7-Up and Mountain Dew don’t appear to have the same bone-weakening effect as dark sodas do.

Researchers at Tufts University found that women who regularly drank cola-based sodas (three or more a day) had almost four percent lower bone mineral density in the hip, even when calcium and vitamin D intake were accounted for.

So what exactly is in dark sodas that is putting your bones at risk?

Gwyneth Paltrow’s Diet May Be Causing Bone Disease

Often the topic of gossip, Gwyneth Paltrow and her extreme diet and exercise habits are once again in the spotlight.

Since 1999, Paltrow has been following a macrobiotic diet of mostly vegetables, grains, fish and soup. During her two pregnancies, she took a break from her diet, but returned to it after childbirth. Though she follows a less intense version of the diet now, she still does not consume much dairy. She has used even more severe diet plans, including fasts, detoxes and the famous Master Cleanse. She exercises 90 minutes a day, six days a week with trainer Tracy Anderson.
