One thing&#8217;s for sure, this season delivered truth to the fashion statement that you can look fabulous at any size!</p>
<p>For one of the most spectacular finishes in Biggest Loser history, this season&#8217;s contestants were impeccably styled in fabulous designer clothes, the hottest colors of the season and figure flattering silhouettes.<span id="more-8831"></span></p>
<p>The night started with the oldest couple, <a title="jerry biggest loser" href="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/05/at-home-biggest-loser-winner-jerry-hayes/" target="_self">Jerry</a> and <a title="estella biggest loser" href="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/12/biggest-loser-7-estella-hayes/" target="_self">Estella</a>, who graced the stage with elegance and style in a classic navy and white color palette. Jerry wore a pinstripe vest and trousers alongside Estella, who looked absolutely stunning in her Tadashi dress. Its retro-inspired neckline complimented her new svelt figure in a fresh and modern way.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/12/biggest-loser-7-nicole-brewer/" ><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-8833" title="nicole-brewer" src="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/nicole-brewer.jpg" alt="nicole-brewer" width="176" height="275" /></a>Next, the newly engaged couple, <a title="damien biggest loser" href="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/12/biggest-loser-7-damien-gurganious/" target="_self">Damien</a> and <a title="nicole biggest loser" href="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/12/biggest-loser-7-nicole-brewer/" target="_self">Nicole</a>, rocked the stage, commanding our attention in slick red and black to commemorate their team color! Damien exuded his unique brand of confidence and charisma in an Italian tailored Pronto Uomo suit, courtesy of Men&#8217;s Warehouse. His flashy red tie and kerchief surpassed only by his glowing smile at he and partner, Nicole&#8217;s, obvious at-home success. They were both glowing with pride at what they had accomplished together, and looked both healthy and more in-love than ever (if that&#8217;s even possible!).</p>
<p>Nicole&#8217;s scene-stealing dress was custom made by Amsale, the same designer who is creating her wedding gown for their August ceremony. The simplicity of her backless jersey dress with sexy plunging neckline accentuated her toned arms and shoulders. A stylish red obie belt sealed the deal, cinching her waistline to reveal her hourglass figure.</p>
<p>Perry Ellis and Men&#8217;s Warehouse sponsored the menswear, providing strong entrances by all the men- in the finest designer suits and separates this stage has ever seen!</p>
<p><a title="mike biggest loser" href="http://www.dietsinreview.com/press/mike-morelli-joins-dietsinreview.com-as-the-biggest-loser-correspondent/" target="_self">Mike</a> opted for a more contemporary look with a striped button-down shirt and slim cut pants while <a title="blaine biggest loser" href="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/12/biggest-loser-7-blaine-cotter/" target="_self">Blaine</a> looked sharp in his tailored blazer.  Both wore designer, Perry Ellis.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/12/biggest-loser-7-kristin-steede/" ><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-8834" title="cathy-and-kristin-biggest-loser" src="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/cathy-and-kristin-biggest-loser.jpg" alt="cathy-and-kristin-biggest-loser" width="220" height="222" /></a>The rockstars of the night were Diamond Nexus laboratories. They provided most of the bling by way of delicate and statement diamond earrings and necklaces worn by most of the women, as well as stand-out watches for the men, proving that diamonds are everybody&#8217;s best friend, especially on this exciting night to remember.</p>
<p>Eveningwear Designer Tadashi was the the star of the show for women. In edition to Estella&#8217;s age-approriate elegance, <a title="carla biggest loser" href="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/12/biggest-loser-7-carla-triplett/" target="_self">Carla</a>, <a title="cathy biggest loser" href="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/12/biggest-loser-7-cathy-skell/" target="_self">Cathy</a> and <a title="kristin biggest loser" href="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/12/biggest-loser-7-kristin-steede/" target="_self">Kristen</a> wore stunning, rich jewel tones and gorgeous shapes that flattered their new bodies beautifully! Carla claims her finale outfit &#8220;made me feel like a million bucks!! When I walked out on that stage, you couldn&#8217;t tell me I wasn&#8217;t FLY!!!&#8221; Her stretch satin belted number was a Tadashi design in a metallic eggplant color. The interesting thing is, when she saw the same dress in another color at Nordstrom&#8217;s, she didn&#8217;t care for it. But when the stylist pulled the same dress in a different color, Carla was sold! &#8220;The dress was very flattering to my curvacious figure, it fit in all<br />
the right places, and allowed me to POP MY COLLAR!!!&#8221;.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/12/biggest-loser-7-carla-triplett/" ><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-8835" title="carla-triplett" src="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/carla-triplett.jpg" alt="carla-triplett" width="160" height="202" /></a>Carla is excited about updating her wardrobe after losing 128 pounds because she says, &#8220;I don&#8217;t have to buy clothes with those unflattering floral prints and patterns anymore!&#8221;</p>
<p>Cathy and Kristen lit up the stage in their colorful cocktail dresses, both by Tadashi. Looking 10 years younger, Cathy&#8217;s dress complimented her new hair color and complexion. But right behind her, Kristen&#8217;s one shoulder fuchsia choice paired with purple stilettos was absolutely gorgeous!</p>
<p>Tadashi can be found at Bloomindales, and Nordstrom stores and online, and is also available at Saks 5th Avenue stores</p>
<p><a title="sione biggest loser" href="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/12/biggest-loser-7-sione-fa/" target="_self">Sione</a> chose a matching vest and suit pants by JOE, Joseph Abboud from Men&#8217;s Warehouse.  The lavender collared shirt pulled the look together, showing off his slim, yet muscular physique.<a href="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/12/biggest-loser-7-sione-fa/" ><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-8837" title="sione-fa-biggest-loser" src="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/sione-fa-biggest-loser.jpg" alt="sione-fa-biggest-loser" width="138" height="220" /></a></p>
<p>&#8220;I felt very skinny walking onstage because it showed my ripped new body!&#8221; Sione proudly commented. He loves shopping now that he can buy the latest in fashion without worrying if they have his size. He also wore a blinged out watch from Diamond Nexus.</p>
<p>Laura looked adorable in a black jersey halter dress by Maggy London at Macys. The babydoll silhouette couldn&#8217;t have been more perfect for Laura who is always camera-ready!  But make no mistake, this dress made her look sizzling hot, a very sexy choice!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/05/interview-with-helen-phillips-biggest-loser-7-winner/" ><img class="size-full wp-image-8836 alignright" title="helen-phillips-biggest-loser" src="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/helen-phillips-biggest-loser.jpg" alt="helen-phillips-biggest-loser" width="142" height="250" /></a>The Winner<br />
<a title="helen biggest loser" href="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/05/interview-with-helen-phillips-biggest-loser-7-winner/" target="_self">Helen</a> was a shining star in her pink satin rouched dress by Suzy CHIN for Maggy Boutique. She also wore a Diamond Nexus necklace and earrings. Her winning look more than erased years from her age! She also added $250,000 to her purse for many high-end designer dresses to come!</p>
<p>In the end, styling credit goes to Liza Whitcraft, who is also the costume designer for the Biggest Loser, and Pamela Sullivan. Their eye for style and creative finishing touches created the polished, coordinated looks that make this the most memorable and fashionable finale in recent history.</p>

<p>Does having some new workout clothes keep you motivated?</p>
<p>I think so!</p>
<p>Just like the thrill I get from wearing a new outfit to work, I love a new top and pair of workout pants: not just because they feel good and fit great, but also because they get me motivated to work out. I know it sounds silly, but it’s true, I’d much rather hit the gym wearing duds that help me out in the looks department. And this spring, there are some new high-tech innovations that are already in my gym bag. <span id="more-6333"></span></p>
<p>Fabrics that wick moisture away from the skin are by far some of the best inventions to hit the gym since aerobics. Until now, exercisers had to make a choice between soft comfy cotton that absorbs perspiration and stretchy synthetics that wick it away.  For body conscious exercisers like me, who like the way a cotton T looks versus a clingy nylon or polyester one, it was always a tough choice, because by the end of a tough workout, the cotton shirt is soaked and sticky, leaving me running to the locker room to change. But this spring, both Nike and Lucy have introduced cotton fabrics that have wicking properties, making them the most popular tops in my workout-clothing drawer.</p>
<div id="attachment_6334" class="wp-caption alignleft" style="width: 185px"><a href="http://www.dietsinreview.com/" ><img class="size-medium wp-image-6334" title="lucy-training-tank" src="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/lucy-training-tank.jpg" alt="The Training Tank from Lucy wicks away moisture, but fits comfortably like cotton." width="175" height="175" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">The Training Tank from Lucy wicks away moisture, but fits comfortably like cotton.</p></div>
<p>Check out the <a title="lucy.com" href="http://www.lucy.com/jump.jsp?itemID=14071&amp;itemType=PRODUCT&amp;size=&amp;sort=&amp;path=1%2C2%2C236%2C288&amp;iProductID=14071 " onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/www.lucy.com');" target="_blank">Training Tank</a> from lucy.com or the <a title="nike dri fit" href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&amp;location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fs%3Fie%3DUTF8%26x%3D0%26ref%255F%3Dnb%255Fss%255Fgw%26y%3D0%26field-keywords%3DDri-FIT%2520nike%26url%3Dsearch-alias%253Daps&amp;tag=wwweasyfreesc-20&amp;linkCode=ur2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/www.amazon.com');" target="_blank">Dri-FIT</a> Favorite Women’s Tank from Nike. Both are made with fabric that wicks, but has a high percentage of cotton in it.</p>
<p>Seamless camisoles have long been a part of my wear-to-work wardrobe, but now the idea of seamless workout gear is becoming mainstream.  Honestly, at first I thought that only elite athletes needed seamless tops or bottoms, but after I got an ugly rash under my armpit from the seam of a self-bra tank during spinning class, I’m converted. Whether it’s to avoid thighs that chafe, or to keep a waist pack MP3 player holder from rubbing side seams into your skin, going seamless is the closest we’ll ever get to wearing nothing at all in the gym. <a title="athleta" href="http://www.athleta.com/jump.jsp?itemType=CATEGORY&amp;itemID=671&amp;LeftNavToExpandID=365" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/www.athleta.com');" target="_blank">Athleta.com</a> has a great selection of seamless tops that are especially fabulous for super sweaty classes like spinning or <a title="bikram yoga" href="http://www.dietsinreview.com/diet_column/09/bikram-yoga-101/" target="_self">hot yoga</a>; they really do feel like a second skin. For a seamless topper, try Nike’s Dri-FIT <a title="nike dri fit" href="http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001I2HM0A/ref=nosim/?tag=wwweasyfreesc-20 " onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/www.amazon.com');" target="_blank">Seamless Women’s Running Shirt</a>.</p>
