This 64-year-old grandfather of five was certainly not the top choice to beat his fellow contestants for the $100,000 prize, but after losing 47.97% of his body weight (down 177 pounds to his current weight of 192), he was the clear winner from the moment he stepped on the scale.

He celebrated his moment with this eldest granddaughter on stage, and with his teammate and wife Estella Hayes. Together, this couple proved that age is the last thing that stands between you, your weight loss goal, and adding many healthy years to your life.
