Hollywood stars are gorgeous and fit and seemingly fabulous in every way. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No matter how much we hate them for it, we’re still constantly curious about how exactly they go back getting “those arms” or “that butt.”
A few darlings of the Hollywood set have opened up about using star fitness trainer Tracy Anderson to whip them in to shape. Via Gwyneth Paltrow’s GOOP newsletter, a long-time follower of Anderson’s workout method, Kristin Davis, co-starring in May 28’s “Sex and the City 2,” Courtney Cox, of ABC’s “Cougar Town,” and fashion designer and philanthropist Donna Karan explain why the Tracy Anderson Method works for them.
The best news? With her DVD series, which the stars use too, you can work on your Hollywood body at home.
Tune in this Thursday, February 25 to The Oprah Show when Kirstie Alley pulls up a seat next to Oprah to discuss her new television reality series, Kirstie Alley’s Big Life.
Last year, Kirstie discussed her 75-pound weight regain on Oprah and also hinted at her new weight loss product company, which was still in the works.
Last week, I talked about the tools needed in your healthy kitchen. So the next logical step is to talk food! What do you need in your pantry to live a healthy lifestyle? Obviously this somewhat varies from person to person based on your personal goals and your individual tastes. And then there are tons of other foods that support transforming the Must-Haves into delicious, decadent dishes.
In upcoming weeks, I’m going to present chances to win copies of my new cookbook, “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Fattening!”, and you may just find yourself wanting to, and loving, cooking more. So I’m going to use that book as the inspiration to help stock your pantry.
Kirstie Alley, actress and former Jenny Craig spokesperson, is set to launch her new reality series on the A&E network on March 21, 2010 at 10/9 p.m.
The show, entitled “Kirstie Alley’s Big Life,” will chronicle her attempt to lose 75 pounds after a very public weight loss journey in which she lost 75 pounds in 2008 and then regained it all plus ten pounds.
On par with unruly behavior or carrying a potential terrorist weapon, we can now add being too overweight as one of the possible reasons for getting booted off of an airplane.
Just this past Saturday, director Kevin Smith was asked to de-board a Southwest flight from Oakland to Burbank, California because, ahem, his bum was encroaching on the seats of his neighboring passengers, which according to Southwest Airlines regulations, posed a safety hazard to his fellow passengers.
Southwest said in an official statement that his removal was for the “safety and comfort of all customers.” The airlines also extended their “heartfelt apologies” to Smith.
