2011 Sexiest Man Alive Bradley Cooper Works Hard for His Body

Bradley Cooper was named 2011 Sexiest Man Alive this week in People Magazine’s annual honor. The 36-year-old hunk who stars in the much anticipated Valentine’s Day has been linked to a few famous ladies during his career including actress Renee Zellweger and recently Jennifer Lopez. Cooper doesn’t see himself as a ladies man, but his sparkling blue eyes and killer smile might suggest otherwise. Cooper is also fluent in French, close to his mother, and knows how to cook.

You don’t get this coveted Sexiest Man Alive title without a body to match. Cooper sported a buff body in movies The A-Team and The Hangover, and while preparing for the film Limitless Cooper had a special workout regimen to get him into shape.

His workouts were long and intense, but when you watch his movies, you can tell the hard work pays off. Cooper trained three to five times per week for 120 minutes each session using the 3-2-1 training method. This describes using three 10-minute intervals of cardio, two 10-minute intervals of strength training, and one 10-minute interval of abdominal training. All of the sequences were repeated twice for one workout.

Bradley Cooper’s Strange No Carb Sandwich Diet

Actor Bradley Cooper recently revealed that he gave up eating carbs to reduce his weight for his role in the upcoming movie “A-Team”. Cooper, whose one time girlfriend  Renee Zellweger has historically been reported as being much too thin, is set to star in the role of Face. In order to get his body in tip top shape and sculpt his washboard abs, Cooper drastically cut his calories and stopped eating any bread or other carbs.

36-year old Cooper loves sandwiches, and his new diet has proven to be a tough challenge. “When I was shooting The A-Team I couldn’t eat anything, which was a nightmare because I love to eat,” the Daily Express quoted Absolute Radio as saying.  He decided to create his own strange and off beat snacks, including a bread-free version of a sandwich.
