Diets in Review - Find the Right Diet for You

Ruby’s Diet is now Ourlife Health

ourlife health logoLast year, Ruby Gettinger won our hearts on the Style Network as the star of “Ruby,” an honest and real look into this woman’s journey to lose weight, and a lot of it. Once topping the scales at 500 pounds, Ruby made millions of us laugh, cry and motivated as she began a near unfathomable hurtle of losing some of the 500 pounds she carried. As she began to lose weight, she started to work with Dr. Paul Bradley, a primary care physician and obesity specialist residing in Savannah, Georgia. He taught Ruby the three main components of successful and long-term weight loss: Diet, education and exercise.

ruby gettingerNow with the assistance of Dr. Bradley’s team of physicians and registered dietitians, Ruby’s and Dr. Bradley’s plan can be experienced by anyone who is looking to lose weight in a convenient and healthy manner. The Ourlife Health weight loss program is a meal delivery program that makes fresh, calorie and portion controlled meals and delivers them to your door each week. These meals, like Tequila Shrimp Salad with Lime Cilantro Dressing, Fresh Atlantic Cod with Asian Soy Glaze and Grilled Veggie Pasta Bake, are the same meals that Ruby dines on as she continues on her mission to lose weight. Thus far, she has lost 150 pounds, having previously followed Hourglass Weight Loss and now following the Ourlife program.

While the Ourlife program is a comprehensive program offering exercise and counseling in addition to the delivered meals, it is currently only available in full access to those who live in the Savannah, Georgia region. Fortunately, the program will be expanding its online services in the coming months so that these complete services can be available to anyone around the country who is looking to lose weight.

Don’t forget to tune in to Season 2 of “Ruby” starting July 5 on the Style Network.

I have been on the Ourife Fresh food for 4 weeks and have lost 9 pounds. I now believe that just changing your eating habits can help you lose weight because that is all I did. I know I will have to start exercising soon, but the weightloss has encouraged me to keep going!!! The food taste great too!

To be honest I was pretty skeptical about this whole mail order "fresh" food thing, but I tried one week of the Ourlife Fresh and it really is like nice restaurant food. I am actually trying to mimmick cooking the food I ordered and so that I can change my own way of cooking.

I started Ourlife Fresh 6 weeks ago and I cannot say enough good things about it. I have been on just about every diet out there. I start off motivated but I get bored and end up cheating...While I have not been perfect :-), I have lost 14.5 pounds! The food really is as good as Ruby says. It just doesn't taste like bland diet food.

I ordered the Our Life Fresh meals and did not like them. I am a girl from the South and live in Atlanta, GA. The food to me was "tasteless". I did autoship but had to cancel because I was throwing away alot of the meals because they were half eaten. In this respect I lost weight because I never finished any of the meals. Save your money people! There are alot better programs out there that serve 3 meals a day that are fresh and healthy. I am pleased that I have found a company here in Atlanta that deliver fresh meals twice a week to my office for less than $100.00 and I must say the meals are extremely tasty.

I am very interested in the plan Ruby is on. I love her show and it has made me think a lot about my own life. The weight I have gained and why and I love how she talks so openly. It makes me realize that I am a lot like her. I need help and I would like to know if there is a Dr. in Ft. Pierce or Pt. Lucie, Fl. that he might know that would work with me and his plan/ I also was wondering if Dr. Bradley has sponsor's for people who really need help but live on a very fixed income one that they can hardly survive on now. Please help me if you can, Please Thank you for listening in advance, God Bless you
Sincerely,
Tina Blakeslee

The food came and it is awesome. And, you do order it from Ourlife Fresh, not Good Measure Meals...So far, I am loving the chicken and the shrimp dishes!

I heard that you can get the food from Ruby's doctor, Dr. Paul Bradley, through www.ourlifehealth.com. I am going to order some too because it is supposedly fresh not freeze dried like some of those nasty meals...
