Healthiest Fast Food Restaurants Revealed by New Zagat Survey

zagat surveyFast food always gets a bad wrap for its poor nutrition value and low-quality ingredients. However, there was reprieve for some today as the results of a new Zagat’s survey were revealed. The popular restaurant review service surveyed 6,100 fast food diners to find out their favorites in a number of categories.

The survey revealed best burgers, best milkshakes, best fries, best fried chicken, best value and best service amongst many others. We were really only interested in where the favorite healthy choices could be found.

For the Healthiest Options category, these four restaurants ranked supreme:

  • Panera Bread
  • Subway
  • Jamba Juice

I don't care what fast food place you eat at! None, and I mean NONE is good for you except salads without dressing, cheese, and meat byproducts. Since I have not dined at any fastfood place in 2 years I dropped almost 50 lbs. No, I don't exercise much. If I did, the weight loss may have been greater. Don't know, but anyone looking to be healthier, with food at least, cook it your self, and bring it to work or what ever it is you do. At least you would know what you are really eating.

It’s significant that a fast food place that uses processed meat and cheese, as well as white bread can be considered healthy. That’s just how low our standards have sunk.
