The weight loss battle is long, tough, and requires a lot of dedication and motivation on your part to be successful. I’ve seen so many people struggle with the ups and downs of weight loss over the years. Watching weight is a never ending battle due to the fact that body weight fluctuates so much. I weigh 170 pounds and I can gain or lose five to six pounds in a day’s time.
I strongly believe that focusing on how you feel and INCHES lost is a much more successful and motivating way to track your progress. I’ve seen so many people work so hard and then look at the scale and then totally give it all up. Most people often lose inches, but either stay the same or even gain weight. This is due to the fact that muscle weighs more than fat and trimming the body will add lean muscle mass, thus focusing on inches lost gives you a way to actually track your success. So, drop the scale and focus on waist size not weight size
It is recommended that your waist size should be no more that half your height. For example, a five foot female (60 inches) should have a waist size of no more than 30 inches. A six foot male (72 inches) should have a waist size of no more than 36 inches.
Give it a try and please feel free to comment back and let me know how it is going.
