Roger started at the Biggest Loser ranch pretty low under the radar. Quiet, unassuming and hard-working, everyone loved him because he seemed to be Mr. Nice Guy compared to Mark’s Mr. Bad Guy. Roger has climbed through the ranks clearing competitors out of his way and positioning himself as one of the strongest contenders for the Biggest Loser title, and has the attitude to go with it He plays the part of former ‘Bama football player very well.

Roger-isms “PRIDE ON THREE!” You’ll hear this boisterous chant a few times in every episode, psyching himself and his team for workouts, weigh-ins and probably even sleep. “Vegas, Baby!” was another one of Roger’s quotes that seemed to make an appearance every few minutes in episode 9.

Biggest Loser’s Dan might be the youngest person on season 5, but that probably plays to his advantage. He’s young, energetic and enthusiastic and can throw smart-mouthed punches with the best of them. Showing he’s not ashamed of being a momma’s boy by teaming up with mom Jackie, eliminated week 6, he parties hard with the rest of the Biggest Loser boys.

Dan-isms WWBD- What Would Bob Do? He’s dedicated to his trainer and doing everything he can to please him. All things rock ‘n roll suit Dan just fine. Dan and his mom Jackie openly talk about how he is an example of what our first generation of obese children look like- having grown up on fast-food and video games.

Kelly is one of the last remaining women in Biggest Loser Couples. She started out as the heaviest woman at the first weigh-in, but wasted no time trimming and down and shaping up. She entered with one of the most interesting relationships of the couples- partnered with her ex-husband Paul. Always doubting herself, it seemed to increase after Paul’s elimination. None of it has slowed her down and as she continues to remain amongst the six finalists, she gets tougher each week.

Kelly-isms Always second-guessing herself and very doubtful. (But she is one of two women left standing- you rock, Kel!) Has a kind word for everyone, all the time. The little engine that could- frequently hear her say “I can do this!”.

With only two women left in the Biggest Loser house, Ali has made herself a strong contender for the lead. Eliminated with her mom, Bette-Sue, in episode 4, she returned in episode 11 for one of the most dramatic twists this season. Having lost the most weight at home of any other woman, Biggest Loser campus welcomed her back. She’s now keeping up with the boys, dropping impressive numbers at weigh-in and no where near giving up on being the first female Biggest Loser.
