What is it?

Dermafi Snake Venom Peptide Cream is a new skin care product that is designed to reduce wrinkles and help users appear younger. It is a moisturizing, smoothing emollient that is designed to leave the skin looking younger and healthier. Dermafi Snake Venom Peptide Cream claims to tighten the skin, leading to increased firmness, elasticity, and smaller pore sizes, which also lessens the appearance of lines and wrinkles and leaves the skin shinier and more photoresistant.

Our panel of health and beauty experts have concluded that Kremotex is the most useful product on the market for reducing wrinkles, increasing hydration, and generally improving overall skin wellness. They performed the best in our team’s ongoing series of clinical trial measuring the top brands skin care products based on dozens of metrics. Click here to see why they ranked Kremotex so highly.

Dermafi Snake Venom Peptide Cream Ingredients and Side Effects

The website for Dermafi Snake Venom Peptide Cream is somewhat deficient, and one of the things that it is lacking is a complete listing of all of the ingredients in their product. These are the ingredients that they do list:

Syn-Ake Hyaluronic Acid
Palmitoyl Tripeptide-28 Biofill

Syn-Ake: A peptide chain synthesized to mimic the effects of the venom of the Malaysian Temple Viper. Malaysian Temple Viper venom works by paralyzing living tissue and can be fatal in humans even in relatively small quantities, however when administered topically the paralytic effect is not that dissimilar to Botox.

Botox works to make the face look smoother by freezing the muscles underneath the skin, which decreases the appearance of lines and wrinkles. The problem with this, beyond the fact that you are using deadly snake venom to paralyze your face, is that it actually doesn’t do anything to improve the skin itself.

The relaxed muscles may reduce the appearance of wrinkles, however it is a temporary effect and does not actually make them go away. It does not improve cellular function, collagen production, or any of the other genuinely useful functions that a skin care treatment can have. There are no known side effects to using syn-ake other than facial paralysis, however there has also never been a long term study about the effects of daily applications of Malaysian Temple Viper venom.

Hyaluronic Acid: A naturally occurring chemical in the body that is found in the joint fluid, in the eyeballs, and in the skin. Hyaluronic acid is responsible for cushioning and lubricating movement and has shown an ability to help improve skin health.

There are no known side effects associated with hyaluronic acid, and it is thought to be safe for everyday usage.

Palmitoyl Tripeptide-28: A skin conditioning agent made in a laboratory setting by bonding three different strains of peptides with palmitic acid.

The benefits of palmitoyl tripeptide-28 are mostly cosmetic in nature, however there are also very few side effects associated with its usage. This may only be due to lack of data regarding their usage, as there has yet to be even a 5-year study of its safety.

Biofil: A compound that has been shown to increase hydration levels in the skin. It was recently synthesized and is currently being used in a number of skin creams because it is thought to make skin softer.

There is still very little independent testing of Biofil, and it is not known what its long-term impact on the skin may be. In the short term, side effects may potentially include:

  • Stinging
  • Burning
  • Itching
  • Redness
  • Hypersensitivity

BioFil is for external use only and can have severe consequences if ingested. It should also not be applied to open wounds, eyes, and mucus membranes. Overuse of BioFil can actually worsen conditions.

Dermafi Snake Venom Peptide Cream Quality of Ingredients

Dermafi Snake Venom Peptide Cream does not have a traditional blend of skin care ingredients and our experts are skeptical of its effectiveness.

The main reason is that their number one ingredient, in addition to being highly questionable in origin, is also not useful for overall skin health. It has a temporary paralytic effect that makes the skin look smoother, however it does nothing for the actual structural health of the skin.

The other products only have a mild moisturizing effect or limited benefits for the skin overall, which means that it is hard to recommend Dermafi Snake Venom Peptide Cream over all of the other products that have more proven pedigrees, that work to improve core health, and that don’t involve rubbing snake venom into your skin.

The Price and Quality of Dermafi Snake Venom Peptide Cream

Dermafi Snake Venom Peptide Cream is available through some independent retailers for prices similar to this:

  • 1, 1 oz jar of Dermafi Snake Venom Peptide Cream: $20.00

Instead of being sold through their website there is an offer for a free jar instead. To get the free jar, however, you must enroll in their automatic renewal program, which many past users have complained about. There are a number of hidden fees associated with participating in the program and attempting to leave it. There are some indications that collecting those fees is a larger part of their business model than actually producing the highest quality product that they can.

Business of Dermafi Snake Venom Peptide Cream

Dermafi Snake Venom Peptide Cream is the only product offered by Dermafi, a subsidiary of Ombia Derma, formerly Pentapharm Ltd. Oddly, Dermafi’s contact information is not listed on their website, however it can be found through the Better Business Bureau, which lists it as:

Phone Number: (877) 743-1783

Address: 3465 S. Arlington Rd. Ste. E312

Akron, OH 44312-5272

If the multiple names of the companies is confusing to you, that is their idea. The company rebrands itself frequently to avoid the negative feedback that they accumulate online. Both Dermafi and Ombia Derma have “F” ratings with the Better Business Bureau do to the many outstanding formal complaints against the businesses, and they have also been known as Absolute Derma and Juvenesse.

Customer Opinions of Dermafi Snake Venom Peptide Cream

Dermafi’s habit of rebranding themselves frequently is a tactic that less scrupulous companies use to avoid the negative feedback online. Once you start digging however, the reviews of Dermafi Snake Venom Peptide Cream that are found on independent health and beauty products review sites are similar to these:

“The only reason they send you the free trial is to get you to sign up for their program, not because they want you to try their trash product. They know it’s garbage that you’ll try to return, and then they’ll hit you with a bunch of hidden fees.”

“STAY AWAY from Dermafi! I tried their disgusting snake venom stuff on my face and it stung, then when I tried to send it back all I got was blown off.”

“This is a scam company and their snake venom junk is more like snake oil if you ask me. DO NOT SIGN UP!”

Most reviews were similar in their assessment that Dermafi was not selling quality products but were instead trying to scam consumers by getting them to take their free trial and then charging the user extra hidden charges.

Conclusion – Does Dermafi Snake Venom Peptide Cream Work?

Not only is Dermafi Snake Venom Peptide Cream not effective, but it is also one of the least reputable products that our team has ever encountered. Their business practices are totally unethical and it is doubtful that anyone in their team actually believes that the products that they’re selling work.

Syn-Ake is the epitome of a fad ingredient. There is no data or testing that shows it is effective, or even safe, yet the manufacturer trumps up its benefits to a public that’s eager for a miracle cure and they believe it mostly because snake venom sounds cool.

Our readers are strongly encouraged to stay away from Dermafi Snake Venom Peptide Cream, as well as all products of under the brand names Dermafi, Pentapharm, Absolute Derma, or Juvenesse.

Our team of experts recommends that our readers try Kremotex for their skin care needs. It is a reputable product that is designed to make skin look younger and healthier, starting at the cellular level. Click here to learn more about their remarkable process.
