What is it?

Orlistol is a weight loss diet pill said to block carbohydrates and suppress appetite. The company adds how careful research went into copying the prescription pill Orlistat, which is a fat blocker.

They use natural ingredients said to be scientifically formulated for results. It’s intended to work fast and help cut through fat. The intended benefits included less fat and carbohydrate absorption. In reviewing weight loss diet pills, our review experts found Sletrokor to be the most effective. Only plant extracts are added and customers have given it rave reviews for its weight loss effects. For more information on Sletrokor click the link here.

Orlistol Ingredients and Side Effects
Chitosan Phaseolus Vulgaris Apple Cider Vinegar Powder Garcinia Cambogia Extract Gymnema Silvestre
Aloe Vera Extract California Buckthorn Gelatin Calcium Hydrogen Phosphate Stearic Acid
Magnesium Salts

Chitosan: Sugar extract taken from the skeleton of shellfish. It’s used to reduce the intake of dietary fat and cholesterol.

Our review experts have compiled a list of the top ranked weight loss diet pills.

Phaseolus Vulgaris: Also known as common bean, this ingredient is used to suppress the absorption of carbohydrates.

Gymnema Sylvestre: Shrub extract that is used to reduce sugar absorption and control insulin. It has been proven safe for repeat use for long periods.

Aloe Vera Extract: This natural plant is a digestive aid and it’s also been used for many other health benefits. It was once used as an over the counter laxative.

It can be used to treat constipation and other bowel related issues.

When added in regular amounts found in foods it has been shown to be risk free and unlikely to cause any digestive issues. The makers of Orlistol fail to mention if they use this ingredient for anything other than digestive issues.

Garcinia Cambogia Extract: Tropical fruit found in parts of Asia. It contains compounds used to help burn fat and stop fat storage. While proven effective, it’s important to know exactly how much is added in the form of HCA.

HCA or hydroxycitric acid is the key extract from Garcinia Cambogia which is needed to help produce the positive fat burning effects.

No information is provided on whether or not they use a strain that contains high amounts of effective HCA.

This makes it impossible to determine the overall quality of this ingredient.

California Buckthorn: Flowering plant which has seeds used as a caffeine free substitute for coffee. It has also been used as a laxative.

Information on its safety is not well known. Only short term studies have been performed so it’s impossible to determine the overall quality.

Orlistol Quality of Ingredients

While there are some quality ingredients, it’s unknown if they’re added in amounts needed for sustained weight loss. For example, Garcinia Cambogia with 80% HCA has been shown to be the best for fat loss. It’s unknown exactly how much is added to Orlistol.

The company has also decided to market itself as being scientifically formulated, yet they fail to provide any evidence of this fact.

Another issue is due to the mimicking of Orlistat or Xenical. This prescription pill has been shown to produce many digestive issues and side effects. To see a list of the top rated weight loss diet pills, click on the link here.

The Price and Quality of Orlistol

One bottle costs $39.99 which equals to a month long supply. Orlistol does use some good ingredients but it’s difficult to examine the overall value without knowing exact ingredient strengths.

They add Garcinia Cambogia Extract which is effective, but they fail to mention the HCA content. This is important to verify if it’s effective enough for real weight loss.

One controversial ingredient is California Buckthorn, which has been shown to potentially cause digestive issues. There’s also no information on whether or not they have a GMP certification to ensure routine quality. For a comprehensive list of the top ranked weight loss diet pills, follow the link provided.

Business of Orlistol

Phone Number: (832) 685-8862

Address: 9801 Westheimer Rd

Houston, Texas 77042

As far as returns the company mentions they only offer a 30 day retun for items purchased on their website. This is only for accepted returns that the company allows.

Very little information exists about the company, but it’s known that they tried fighting a report that the stimulant bitter orange was unhealthy when mixed with caffeine.

This has been proven in clinical studies and it’s known to be a potentially damaging combination.

No other information exists about the company besides the having a Facebook page. It’s unclear whether or not they truly offer a GMP certification on their brands. Looking at the bottle it’s clear that there is no official seal of approval. It’s been described as:

“a system for ensuring products are consistency produced and controlled”

This helps to:

“minimize the risks involved in any pharmaceutical product that cannot be eliminated through testing the final product”

This essential part of producing supplements is the only way to ensure that you’re getting a secure and safe product.

Customer Opinions of Orlistol

Here are select reviews taken from users:

“if you don’t diet and exercise you’re not going to see any results”

“contains a bad ingredient not advised for long term use. It gave me some terrible stomach cramps and diarrhea”

“have been taking it repeatedly for 10 days and have not lost a single pound”

“So far I have not dropped any wright but this might be due to my own actions”

A common theme for people was that it failed to produce any noticeable effects. Some id experience weight loss, but there were also issues related to nasty side effects.

There was mention of things like diarrhea, increased bathroom usage, nausea, upset stomach, dehydration, headaches, and other related symptoms.

Positive reviews were also mentioned, but it’s unknown if these are all truthful. Many of the positive experiences were from unverified customers on Amazon.com, which means they might be biased.  For a comprehensive list of the best weight loss diet pills, click on the link here.

Conclusion – Does Orlistol Work?

Orlistol is used to help reduce carbohydrates and fats, and while it does have good ingredients, some of these additives are added in unknown quantities. This makes it impossible to determine the overall quality.  They also have claims about being scientifically formulated, yet they fail to provide any clinical studies to prove this fact. Overall Orlistol is an underwhelming diet pill supplement.

Day 2… abdominal cramps/tenderness, mild nausea and frequent BMs. Thought I was getting a bug…

Kim says:

Today after the second dose (6hrs, in between) I began to have severe cramping/spasms in my bladder, perhaps I’ll say lower abdomen/super pubic area; despite my drinking lots of water, the pain/ spasm continued, to the point I had to stretch out on my bed. I could not sit in a chair, the spasms just got worse when sitting, there’s little to no relief while being stretched out at a 40* angle. Today is Sunday, April 2, 2017. I’m reluctant to move too much, if it persist at an increasing rate, I will go to the ER, I am an ER/Trauma nurse, with no history of bladder issues, this is the first of this experience. I’m of course concerned at this point, but will continue making self assessments. At this time I say bladder, however, the spasms can be intestinal in that region, but as far as I can tell, the pain appears anterior, so I’ll continue to say bladder until proven otherwise.

In response to other reviews: (I’m on Day 3) — any drug that you’re taking for weight loss is going to likely have side effects, *especially* something given to you by your doctor. You have to weigh whether that’s worth it for you to try it. There’s no actual miracle drug. Also, if you eat poorly, it’s going to give you issues. I’m down 2 lbs. so far, and pretty happy with it considering.

Cari DiMarzio says:

I’m on day 3 and feel completely awful. I’ve had diarrhea several times a day. I have had a nearly constant headache and stomach cramps. I will not be taking anymore of this!

Tasha says:

I had great results using this! No exercise at all. Watched what I ate that’s about all! With that in consideration I was able to lose 18lbs with my first bottle. I did purchase a 2nd and in the first week I’ve lost 5.

Cari says:

Has anyone experienced armpit and Brest pain? Left breast outside through the armpit.
Has this happened to anyone?
This is the only new thing I’m using.

Thanks everyone!
