What is it?

Lipodrops is a weight loss droplet formula made to help increase fat metabolism without any stimulants or hormones. It’s claimed that reduced estrogen is the cause of weight gain, and that regulating this is helpful for men and women alike. The formula in Lipodrops is intended to help regulate this hormone.

There’s claimed to be 4 healthy amino acids that are key for helping retain hormone levels. This all comes in a small vial to apply small droplets. It claims to have “essential nutrients for fat metabolism”. Are any of these claims actually true? What kinds of weight loss benefits are possible, if any? In this Lipodrops review you’ll get the information needed to make an informed decision.

Lipodrops Ingredients and Side Effects
L-Methionine Inositol Choline Chloride L-Carnitine
Purified Water Glycerin Artificial Flavors Stevia Extract
Acesulfame Potassium Polysorbate 20 Sodium Benzoate Potassium Sorbate

L-Methionine: Amino acid commonly found in meat, dairy, and fish. It’s beneficial for helping regulate many important body functions.

In supplement form it’s important to watch intake, as it can potentially cause unwanted side effects.

Web MD confirms that it’s:

“POSSIBLY UNSAFE to self-medicate… if you use larger amounts than those typically found in food”

“Too much methionine can cause brain damage and death”

Other possible side effects may include:

  • Increased risk for heart disease.
  • Increased growth of tumors.

The amino acids studies group.com advises to get around 19 mg of this amino acid per kilo of body weight.

Since the amino acid blend is added in unknown individual amounts, this makes it impossible to determine for yourself whether you’re getting excess amounts.

This amino acid is found in many foods, so it’s unknown if it’s necessary to supplement with more of it. The potential side effects can potentially be extremely dangerous.

Inositol: A molecule that is helpful for improving blood sugar levels. It’s found in many grain foods and citrus fruits.

Chlorine Chloride: Most commonly added to chicken feed in order to provide a faster growth rate. It’s claimed to help with improving sleep, memory formations, and helping prevent fat storage.

Though Live Strong.com confirms that these claims aren’t verified:

“manufacturers of chlorine chloride supplements do not provide scientific studies”

So it’s unknown if this ingredient is safe or effective in humans.

L-Carnitine: Amino acid found in foods, it’s added to help with fat burning. Examine.com adds:

“Supplementation of l-carnitine does not burn fat unless the individual is deficient”

Though being deficient in this is rare, since the average diet gets more than enough.  It can potentially lead to side effects that include:

  • Rash.
  • Body odor.
  • Increased appetite.
  • Diarrhea.
  • Negative interactions with medication.

Because of it being found in common foods, the potential for side effects is potentially high.

Artificial Flavors: Man made chemical synthetic used to mimic the taste of hard to maintain ingredients.

This can be extracted from numerous sources, and it’s unknown what Lipodrops extracts this ingredient from.

This ingredient is only added to substitute a more whole natural ingredient. There’s no nutritional value to this.

Stevia Extract: This sweetener comes from a plant that does not cause any issues with blood sugar levels, nor does it contribute much sugar grams.

It’s considered a healthy alternate sweetener that can effectively replace sugar.

Acesulfame Potassium: Artificial sweetener that is around 200 times sweeter than regular sucrose. One study performed by PLOS One showed that this ingredient:

“could affect cognitive functions”

“altering fasting insulin and leptin levels”

This ingredient was shown to be a potential hazard to health. In one rat study it showed to influence their preference for sweets. So this means it can potentially cause genetic changes.

Polysorbate-20: Emulsifier found in many cleaning and skincare products.  EWG.com adds that this ingredient may lead to:

“Organ system toxicity”

Depending on the amount ingested, this ingredient can be potentially damaging.

Sodium Benzoate: Preservative added to many processed foods and drinks. It’s potentially damaging to certain people.

It’s known to potentially increase the risk for an allergic reaction. Also, the combination of this ingredient with other additives may create benzene. This is a potentially damaging carcinogen harmful to human health.

Potassium Sorbate: A salt of sorbic acid which is used to help preserve ingredients.

In the chemistry world it’s known as an eye, skin, and respiratory irritant that can be potentially carcinogenic. That’s why when handling this ingredient it’s advised to exercise caution.

EDITOR’S TIP: Combine this supplement with a proven fat burner such as Sletrokor for better results.

Lipodrops Quality Of Ingredients

lipodropsThere are a total of 3 preservatives, 2 artificial ingredients, and common amino acids which may be toxic when taken in large amounts.

This formula would be useful if it was only amino acids, though this would only be helpful to those who had deficiencies. For the average person there’s no need to take these kinds of amino acids, as they’re common to many foods.

Excess intake of these amino acids can potentially cause serious issues that include brain damage and even death.

It’s because of these potential risk factors that this formula should be explained in detail as to how much is inside. Their proprietary formula contains certain ingredients that are in unlisted dosage strengths, and this can make it hard to accurately dose per your needs.

Without knowledge about the actual strength, it’s difficult to determine what kind of effects this may have. Though as mentioned, the average person does not need extra amounts of the added amino acids.

The Price and Quality of Lipodrops

A 30 day supply sells for $49.95.  This is required to be taken twice a day.

They claim that it’s possible to lose around 1 to 2 pounds a week, though no clinical studies are offered to support this claim.

Since the amino acids which are meant for fat loss are already found in natural foods, there’s really no reason to use this supplement.

There’s also added artificial ingredients and preservatives which may be potentially harmful to health. It’s for these reasons that the quality of this supplement is poor.

It’s also expensive for what you’re getting, you can substitute many of these ingredients which cheaper wholesome foods. No explanation is given as to why natural foods wouldn’t be a better option.

Because there’s many preservatives added, this formula may cause unwanted side effects.

Business of Lipodrops

The company is called Lipodrops Inc., and their contact information is as follows:

Address: Hiram, Georgia, 30141

Email: info@Lipodrops.com

They don’t offer a phone number or their full address. There’s also limited information on how the company operates. This has caused many customers to become disgruntled in trying to reach the company.

They also only offer a 50% money back return for opened products within 30 days. One customer review is listed on the Better Business Bureau page of the doctor who makes this:

“still have not received a confirmation that my order has been placed”

“When I call no one can find my order”

Still, it’s impossible to determine much about the company since they fail to provide much information. For a company that has been around for some time, it’s odd that there isn’t much information to help explain how they operate.

Some have mentioned that they believe the company to be operated a scam. This is because some have received unrequested products that were charged to their credit cards.

Since the only contact information offered is an email, this makes it difficult to expect quick communication. Typically, a phone number is standard for a legitimate supplement company. This makes it so you can ask questions and determine if the brand is right for you.

EDITOR’S TIP: For the best results, our experts recommend using weight loss pills for at least 3 months. Save your money by buying a few bottles at once.

Customer Opinions of Lipodrops

Here’s what some users online have had to say:

“Doesn’t work”

“do not order or do any business with this illegitimate company”

“they will only scam you too”

There’s not many reviews on the actually product itself, instead the few customer opinions are about the lack of customer support.

Some have claimed it is a scam, and that when tried to contact the company, it said the line was no longer operational. This was from the people the managed to get more contact information about the company outside of their website.

No positive reviews were listed online.

Conclusion – Does Lipodrops Work?

Lipodrops has a unique marketing strategy that might catch your attention, but it’s important to keep in mind that all customer reviews of this supplement are negative. Not only did people fail to lose weight, but many claim that they would not have bought this brand if they knew the company would be impossible to reach.

It’s unknown if this lack of communication will prevent the supposed money back guarantee from being allowed. There’s also ingredients added such as artificial additives and preservatives. Much better solutions are offered which are made with only natural ingredients, no preservatives, and ingredients that aren’t already easily replaced with quality food.

One such brand is called Sletrokor; it’s made exclusively with natural, stimulant free ingredients. You can rest assured when using this brand that you’ll get only wholesome ingredients. This is why several customers have benefited from its weight loss formula. Many people have used this supplement successfully for noticeable weight loss benefits.

Sletrokor is also backed by a great 30 day money back guarantee. This makes it possible to use this supplement without any fears of insufficient weight loss benefits.
