The youngest of the Kardashian sister clan, Khloe has struggled with weight and body image in the past. In the last year, she’s reportedly gained weight from a rocky patch in her marriage to basketball star Lamar Odom, and has even admitted that she’s an emotional eater who tends to gains weight when she goes through something difficult.
Of her past weight, the star admits that ‘her weight is always going up and down, and that she’s always fighting that and feels no matter what she does, she don’t look good enough to everybody else.’
“My weight is my biggest lifetime struggle,” she says. “It’s not the biggest thing in life, but it does get you down sometimes.”
But since picking up a new workout regimen with her hubby – who’s currently training for the Summer Olympics – and cleaning up her diet, it’s been reported that Khloe’s lost an estimated 20 pounds in 20 days, weighing in around 155 pounds now and appearing trim and very healthy.
“My husband is working out four to six hours a day right now, so I work out with him,” the star told Life & Style Magazine in a recent interview. “We’ll do outside workouts and inside workouts. We’re always switching it up; it’s so fun.”
Khloe and Lamar’s personal trainer, Robbie Davis, recently dished the duo’s healthy new eating habits. “She eats mostly fresh fruits and vegetables, with small amounts of lean proteins like fish and chicken,” he said. “She trains like an athlete when she’s with us, even doing weight training. We also run the canyons surrounding their house. Plus, she does Pilates and stair-running on her own.”
In addition to her new, slimmer figure, Khloe and Lamar have reportedly decided to take a break from their reality TV show “Khloe and Lamar” which documents their marriage and daily doings. The pair hopes to enjoy some down time away from the camera and have more time to focus on their relationship.
Khloe’s mother, Kris Jenner, has reportedly told media outlets that the couple is doing incredibly well and ‘are just so happy.’ We certainly hope Khloe is at a happy place in her life, and that she continues her healthy habits for herself and no one else. But as far as we can tell, she’s looking great and healthy and we’re excited for her.
