The very first Biggest Loser finale we attended was for season 5. Everyone remembers that one. Bernie Salazar won the at-home prize (I almost broke my knees at commercial running over to hug his adorable mom Darma!). Ali Vincent was the first of many pink shirts to win the whole thing. DietsInReview had been “in business” for a little over a year, and we quickly became deeply embedded with the Biggest Loser family. We like to think we’ve taken good care of them over the years, and we’re grateful to them for taking good care of us.
The Biggest Loser finale for season 13 is just a day away and it’s hard to believe we’re headed for the West coast to cover our ninth finale! During the past four years we’ve seen a lot, heard a lot, and been a part of a lot that most finale attendees don’t even get to be a part of, much less the viewers at home. So, I’m letting you in on some of my favorite parts of attending finale.
