Jennifer Love Hewitt’s Sexy New Role and Her Secret to Attract Men

Jennifer Love Hewitt is no stranger to playing sexy roles, and her new role is no different. Starring in The Client List, a Lifetime series that premiered Sunday, Hewitt plays a single mother who finds work at a massage parlor that offers sexual favors to a special list of clients; something her character did not exactly sign up for.

Her character, Riley, often appears in revealing outfits and constantly struggles to find the balance between her morals and an opportunity that could resolve her financial woes for her family.

Even though Hewitt has played sexy roles in “Can’t Hardly Wait,” “The Heartbreakers,” and “Ghost Whisperer,” this is a “whole different ballgame,” she told UsWeekly.

“Obviously, sort of being so overtly sexy and provocative – that part of it is not something, by nature, I’ve put on display before or really put out there before,” she said in a recent teleconference. “And that part’s just been sort of fun and exciting and, you know, I feel like I’m at a good age for it. I’m 33 years old, and I think, if I was younger, it would feel more saucy and daring.

“But, at 33, I’m a grown woman — this is what we do … You sort of find your femininity and your strength and your own sexuality in sort of playing a part like this – much like I think Riley sort of discovers as the series goes on.”

How far is she willing to go with her own sexuality on screen? Hollywood.com spoke to the star, and found there are some lengths she isn’t willing to take onscreen: “I wouldn’t have done nudity, no.  That’s not something that I feel particularly comfortable with. I also think that it’s sexier not to show everything. I feel that people’s imaginations can do way more. So no, it probably would have been a different consideration for me.”

The racy role has the actress getting a lot of attention from the media, but what about helping her land a man?

For that, Hewitt has a simpler solution, “I carry McCormick’s Pure Vanilla [in my purse]–the baking kind–and dab it on my neck,” she told UsWeekly. “Men are attracted to the scent! One time, I put it on and four different guys were like, ‘You smell amazing!'”

Men’s attraction to vanilla is not a coincidence. Vanilla is thought to be an aphrodisiac, especially among males. It is also believed to reduce anxiety and stress.

This is good news for the single gals who don’t exactly want to have to work at a “happy ending” massage parlor for male attention. All you have to do is reach into the baking cabinet and dab on a little vanilla!
