Retrofit, a weight loss company designed to help clients make a life-long change, is making some major changes itself. A new way of pricing, new location, and new Chief Operating Officer are proof of how the young company is growing and developing.
The new pricing system is the direct result of consumer feedback, Retrofit Chief Marketing Officer Kim Evenson said. The brand is introducing a new 24-month payment plan without interest or additional fees added. “This allows people to pay over a longer time frame, since Retrofit is a lifetime change,” Evenson said. In addition to the payment plan, Retrofit is also offering a five percent discount to clients who pay monthly and a 10 percent discount to clients who pay for the program in full.
Retrofit has also reduced the price of the 15 percent weight loss plan. This change results in the difference between the monthly payments for the 15 percent and 10 percent weight loss plans being less than $50. “Most people want to lose more weight, especially if they have tried diets before,” said Evenson about the price reduction. “They need more support for a lifetime program and this makes it more accessible.” Evenson also said that since prices have been reduced, over two thirds of clients are choosing the 15 percent plan. “I couldn’t be more excited!”
Another exciting change to Retrofit is its new location. It was announced this week that the company is relocating to downtown Chicago. This move is expected to support the company as it doubles its staff to 100 employees. “Retrofit Inc. is excited to establish strong roots in Chicago,” said Retrofit Chief Executive Officer Jeff Hyman.
With the move also comes the addition of the company’s first COO, Kimberly Williams, the former President of McDonald’s Corporation Technology Subsidiaries.
