What is it?

Ombia Derma is a non-prescription skin care supplement that compares itself to an injection-free Botox alternative.

Ombia Derma claims that their cream freezes the muscles and smoothes the skin, making users look younger and healthier. Their advertising says that it is perfect for reducing the appearance of frown lines, expression creases, and the natural wrinkling that comes with old age.

Our expert panel of skin care professionals rate Kremotex as their number one anti-aging solution.

Their cream has shown an exceptional ability to increase collagen production and to hydrate the skin at the cellular level. Click here to see before and after pictures of Kremotex’s users.

Ombia Derma Ingredients and Side Effects

Ombia Derma does not publish their entire ingredients list. Instead, they list only one main active ingredient:

Syn-Ake

Syn-Ake: A synthetic peptide that was designed to mimic the venom of the Malaysian temple viper. While actual temple viper venom is deadly to humans, the structure of Syn-Ake is non-venomous and is thought by some to have cosmetic applications.

Even though it is not as dangerous to humans as its organic form, Syn-Ake is still a powerful muscle paralytic that works by blocking the neurotransmitters that connect muscle function to the brain. The theory is that when this paralyzing effect is applied to the muscles of the face they relax, releasing tension and decreasing the appearance of wrinkles.

This is the same theory behind the popular skin treatment Botox, which deadens facial muscles using a strain of botulism toxins. One of the main differences between the two is that Botox is applied with a needle that can pierce the dermis, applying the chemical where it is most needed, and Ombia Derma is rubbed on topically, where the Syn-Ake must first be absorbed through the skin.

The topical alternative is an appealing one to many people because of the invasiveness of the injection procedure. The needles can be painful and they can also cause swelling, redness, and nerve death, and they are also a risk for infection.

The topical method has some issues of its own, however. For one thing, there are questions about how effective it actually is in practice. There is a reason that Botox is applied via injection – it’s hard to get past the skin. The dermis is a tough, absorbent layer whose purpose is to protect the tissues below it, and if it isn’t injected then it never actually makes its way to the muscles below that it needs to contact in order to be useful.

When Syn-Ake is rubbed on to the skin some of it may make it through the dermis, but most of it gets trapped there where its paralyzing effects happen to the skin cells themselves. The result of this over time is an effect that is counter-indicative to what most people are using Ombia Derma for in the first place.

When the paralytic pseudo-venom is absorbed by skin cells it can mutate or kill them, resulting in irregular skin cell structures that cause sagging, dull, discolored skin. It can also have permanent effects on the brain and nervous system, potentially impacting users abilities to emote and display expression on their face.

More concerning are the claims of “fuzzy brain” that many people using facial creams with neuro-blockers have been reporting. The body’s nervous system is a delicate network of connections that our panel of experts does not recommend tampering with, especially for strictly cosmetic reasons.

Ombia Derma Quality of Ingredients

Our panel of experts’ philosophy about skin care products is that they should be attempting to make the skin healthier, and that beauty is a product of healthy, functional skin. Syn-Ake follows the opposite model, where short-term beauty is more important than long-term skin health, and our team cannot support this.

Not only does Syn-Ake have no positive benefits for the skin or body at the core level, but prolonged usage of products that contain it make the skin sag, wrinkle and appear older, which are the exact conditions that most people are taking it to correct.

Beyond this, however, is the fact that Syn-Ake is not the only ingredient in Ombia Derma, it is just the only ingredient that they choose to publicize. There are undoubtedly other fillers and inactive ingredients in their blend, if not other active ingredients.

Not publicizing what is in their blend makes it impossible to judge its quality and its safety for any given user. It could have allergy issues, it could interact with some medications, or it could just be loaded with wholly ineffective ingredients and we would never know.

It is sadly common for manufacturers to include products like simple alcohols that make a product look better going on, but have drying, damaging effects overall. Mineral oils and paraffins can be contaminated with carcinogens, and even chemicals like ammonia and lye are still found in many over the counter skin care products.

If a company will not release their ingredients it is only natural to wonder why not and what it is they may be hiding. Our team does not recommend any product that is unwilling to disclose their full ingredients list.

The Price and Quality of Ombia Derma

Ombia Derma, unlike most products of this nature, is not sold on an individual basis. There are no outlets, terrestrial or online, where you can go to purchase a single bottle of their cream. The only way to obtain some, if that is what you want to do, is to sign up for their “Free Trial Offer.”

The “Free Trial Offer” is a name that has misled many customers before, mainly because there is, in practice, only a very small chance of the offer actually being free. Everyone who signs up for the offer has to pay shipping and handling, however that is fairly standard for offers of this type.

What is not standard is that when users sign up they are also enrolled, without notification, in an automatic renewal program that charges customers’ credit cards $89.69 per month. There are also fees for cancellation, returning items, and also for not returning items.

Business of Ombia Derma

Ombia Derma is a member of a network of disreputable skin cream manufacturers that change brand names often. They have previously been known as Skin Noir, Skin Technologies, and Dos Hermanos, LLC. Ombia Derma lists their parent company as Coal Cosmetics and their contact info as:

Phone Number: (800) 958-5410

Address: 5404 Whitsett Ave #128

Valley Village, California, 91607

Email: [email protected]

It should be noted that there have been quite a few formal complaints filed against Coal Cosmetics, Ombia Derma, and their affiliate brands. The Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission have both sent them written reprimands for their tactics, and many customers have threatened legal action against them.

Conclusion – Does Ombia Derma Work?

Our team works hard to help our readers find skin products that will be effective for their skin type and needs. We are trying to find the most honest companies and the most effective products to ensure that everyone can get the facial care that they deserve.

It is disappointing when we see so many people that feel like they have been taken advantage of when all they wanted was a chance at improving their skin. Our team encourages our users to only use products that are willing to disclose all of their ingredients, that have honest and straightforward pricing structures, and that have good feedback from their past customers.

Ombia Derma does not have any of those qualities. Our reviewers encourage our readers to avoid this product and their business, and to make sure that they read the fine print of all supposedly “free” offers.

Our panel recommends that users who are looking for an effective daily skin care option try Kremotex. It has been growing in esteem within the international skin care community for its ability to effectively and safely improve the functionality and the appearance of users’ skin.

It is an alternative to harsher skin creams with unpleasant side effects, however it is also one of the most powerful products on the market as well. Apple stem cells, shea butter and other additives are effective without compromising user health and wellness. Click here for a full breakdown of Kremotex’s entire proprietary blend.

One Response to Ombia Derma Review

Winnie says:

Ombia is very underhanded and it tricks customers . They would charge shipping at first so they can gain access to your credit card information and will charge you exhorbitant fees. I got duped by them and they won’t accept the return of their product . Unbeknownst to me with the initial offer of ” just $4 .00 shipping fee, I ended up with a $ 94. and an $ 89 something charged to my credit card . Further more without my approval, I was shipped another batch and charge me again for it . So, in total , they have charge me about $ 400.00 worth of crap . The product gave me pimples – I broke out like never before . It sis not work at all . I went back to my regular skin care product to restore my skin . I will make a big stink about this and contact my local news people about this scam , BBB and the FTC for this company’s unfair business practice .
