Call 1-800-Kirstie

For the past three years we’ve heard Kirstie Alley telling everyone to call 1-800-Jenny, but this week she hung up. After successfully losing 75 pounds to date with the Jenny Craig program, and ushering in Valerie Bertinelli, Kirstie has stepped away as Jenny’s spokesperson.

She leaves with all positive things to say about Jenny Craig and spokespeople for the company even suggest she’s still committed to the weight loss program.

I have to say- she looks fantastic. I sat at a table near her at dinner a few weeks ago and thought she was definitely looking much healthier and thinner than those obese pictures a few years ago. A lot of people have turned to Kirstie as a beacon of hope for their own weight loss endeavors the last few years- which makes perfect sense that she will be introducing her own branded weight loss program in 2009.

The 57-year old actress is passionate about her new program and isn’t really saying much, except that she is “confident that I can create something exciting and innovative, something that if all goes well, will help change a fat America back into a fit America and will offer this country the healthiest, yummiest, easiest and most effective weight-loss program on the market.”

She’s got big shoes to fill. Diets In Review will of course keep you updated with any news we hear about this new weight loss program. We want to hear from you- what do you think about and expect from Kirstie’s weight loss program?

  • “The customer service at e-diets is horrible. The representatives are not ver polite and they sure don’t make you feel like a valued customer. I am said to say it, but I had to cancel my account with them. The food is really good, but the deliver reprocess is a nightmare. The food does not arrive on the dates that it should. As of today I am waiting on my final deliver that has been in transit for 4 days. Do I really want to eat food that has been in a box for 4 days??? NOOOO. So I had to cancel and the customer service rep didn’t apologize or even seemed like he cared.”

  • “What happened to Amy? I really think she voted for Coleen because she is too scared of the blue team. If only she could have talked to her mom once again and to be told again “be true to yourself” This show was my one and only fave, but not anymore. I,d sooner watch Jerry Springer than these 2 that are left on, so this will be my last season I will be watching this show, and if my fave people go, Michelle and Rennee, and Amy then I don,t give a care who wins. Why the hell would they bring back Ed is beyond me, and now Heba can be a bigger than she was before with his support. Vicky, you need to lose your bad mouth along with a ton of weight,.”

  • “after u stop the program is it easy to gain it all back. I lost 18 lbs n am satisfied but now I kinda eat a little more than I was when I was full force doing ww. I still will not eat n e thing fried and still have the tendency to count and figure point values. Is this a bad thing. Should u be worried about gaining the weight back? Thanx to anyone who can help me with this”

  • “Amy, I hoping you shock everyone by winning the entire thing. Like many women, they tend to put themselve last. You’re doing the right thing by making “YOU” the most important element in your decisions. You were right to vote off Vickis husband. You need to focus on removing your threats and those that don’t deserve this opportunity. You’re a bigger (not literally) person than I. After Vicki call you those names you should have got her out. I’m sure theres things we don’t see on TV but Vicki and Heba seem to these they are the roosters in the hen house and they’re just mean. Keep in mind these videos will never go away, and thanks to the internet Vickis kids will see these, I wonder what kind of role model she wants to be for her kids. You keep going and take care of yourself. You’re mom was right, this is your time. GO, GO, Go. God bless.”
