Announcing the Gluten-Free Series

wheat stalkI am excited to announce the kick-off of a new weekly series that will focus on all things gluten-free. I will cover topics from grains to everyday products that you may never had known gluten was hiding in. I will also provide a glossary to provide you guidance along with some great tools and resources that already exist both online and off.

Next week in the first of our gluten-free series Iā€™ll be providing some great information in regards to what is gluten, what it means to suffer from celiac disease and review some grains to help clear up any confusion there might be around what you can and cannot eat.

I definitely agree with you both that there are lot of people that suffer and more importantly are not diagnosed due to lack of information for both patients and doctors. I also believe that the processed diets our society has moved to is contributing largely to the issue which I'll address in the weekly series.

Thereā??s an interesting post over at the Health Journal Club that makes the case that people should just not eat anything that wasnā??t a food 100 years ago. Gets rid of the aspartame, bleached GM flour, high fructose corn syrup garbage they try to pass off as food these days. If interested you can read on it here,

Good to see this. I am sure that many people are really having gluten allergy issues and we also know how many people are sensitive to carbs
