Members of Congress, corporate executives, and professional and recreational athletes seek her expertise to help them reach their wellness and performance goals. Rebecca’s nutrition programs get results. They are based on scientific evidence, not empty promises. Her motto “nothing changes until you do” exemplifies her belief that everyone has the ability to transform their lives through eating healthy and staying active.
Rebecca is a faculty member in sports nutrition at George Washington University. She travels the country bringing a message of nurturing wellness via Nurture Principles with Bernie Salazar, at-home winner of NBC’s The Biggest Loser.

Rebecca received a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University, has been recognized by the American Dietetic Association as “Young Dietitian of the Year," and is an ACSM Certified Health Fitness Specialist.

Personal Fun Fact Worked on a cruise ship in college. I was the only person who could fit into the Tweety Bird costume so I had to don it once a week for all the kids on board. That thing was hot!
Refrigerator Staple Fresh vegetables - There are so many good ones, but you will always see greens, cucumbers, peppers, and tomatoes for a quick salad or sandwich toppers.
My Favorite Healthy Food I've been loving the fat-free Greek yogurts for the past couple of years. I can't believe how versatile they are. I use them as a base in fruit smoothies, egg, tuna, and potato salads, and I've even added some to my oatmeal.

The Book I'd Read Again Ha! I'm notorious for taking a year to read a book - or just not finishing it! I have a big library of mostly food and nutrition books. There are too many good ones out there to re-read.
First Paid Gig I've had dozens of jobs. In high school, I worked at Ponderosa Steakhouse. In college, I taught aerobics at Ted Nugent's wife's studio. As a dietitian, my first consulting job was to help Kashi launch their probiotic cereal.
